License Usage 

 

License Consumption 

Once the license server is installed it will contain within it a set number of licenses. This number was specified prior to installation by selecting the appropriate link on the downloads page. Starting to use a product (Ornatrix or other) will consume a single license. Once a license is consumed it is locked and usage of another instance of the product will not be permitted until the license is released.

 

License Release 

The license is released when one of the following scenarios happens:

1. The plugin is unloaded inside the host application (for example, Ornatrix is unloaded in Maya)
2. The host application is closed
3. 10 minutes passes since the plugin is used by a closed application (time out period, for example if host application quits unexpectedly)
