Problem

Description:

Hi if i run a sim if i use rigid settings - ie wood ,steel preset- everything runs very slow

same scene with things set to inflated  or liquid runs fast - is this normal? 

seems odd - happens on many scenes started from scratch

Steps to Reproduce:

Does it run slow throughout or just the start-up time is slow for the scene?

hi throughout the time line,

also seeing ridgid bodies fall in wrong direction in relation to gravity(is this due to their local axis) 

- also the scene files get big quick is this due to perframe object cache type thing?

Most likely yes, regarding scene size. Do you think you could post an example scene of this wrong direction and slowness?

hi attached in a rar 2 files 005 is fine- 006 has a ridgid steel box added - runs slow once this is added and moves at tangent to gravity   regards j

Looks like it is a configuration setting. Add global settings and decrease resolution to 10 to solve the problem.

ok thanks- does this mean the simulation is less accurate/object more likely to go through each other?
