Problem

Description:

Hey Marcel,

Using latest version, i tried to follow your example to change from soft to flui d then to cloth, when i press record, lucid records all fine in realtime, but when i stop/cancel the sim and try to replay, all sim is accelerated dramatically... please see attached file.

I noticed that if i sim with time range on (in this case from 10 to 1000) the problems appears, but if i uncheck time range and let it sim from 0, after simming speed seems normal.

Steps to Reproduce:

Thanks Nildo. Did you forget to attach the file?

Sorry about this...i thought i had attached it, but then i realize the file was too large about 50mb..due to the sim...

but try this:

make a box of 5mx5m to use as floor, add a sphere above it, and try animating the materials then check time range and sim like that...you will see that it sims ok, but playing back its SUPERFast..

Untick timerange let it sim from beginning..it sims and playsback ok.

on that note, maybe it would be a good idea to add a button to delete the sim in case we wanna have a smaller file?

Nildo, is the time scale issue still a problem for you?

There is clear recorded data functionality now.

Hi Marcel, nice job on the recording feature..VERY HELPFUL..having said, yes there still is a problem with time and sim, not like before, that issueis gone now sim runs at "normal" speed, i say "normal" because when i sim it when time range off, it seems to fall in slow mo when compared to time range on..that's one problem.. Another issue im having (maybe its because i dont understand it), is that whenever i sim with time range off and choose to change from inflated to liquid and then to cloth at certain frames, this seems to sped up when i use time range ON. situation 1: time range OFF, the balls and changes materials the way its expected at set frames. situation 2: time range set to 10-130 for example, now the sphere will change to liquid before it hits the ground, i would have thought that it would at least delay for 10 frames since i put start from 10..   in the file im attaching you'll see that sphere changes to liquid at frm 55, and with time range off, it respects this, but with time range ON, when simming it seems to respect it, but after playing back you'll see that it turns to liquid at frame 18 or so...i dont know if this is intended, but to me seems unpredictable and thus it makes time range unusable.
