Problem

Description:

Hi,

I've been unable to get the licensing working, (Max 2013, Win 7) - the ephere license manager says it can't find user info.

I had been in contact with Marsel about fixing it, but the last 2 e-mails from him in the thread (not a fresh e-mail) have been just full of Chinese characters.

I'm not sure WTF is going on there - seen plenty of spam harvested from e-mails, but not inserted into an existing thread.

So I've taken it to the forum

Any ideas/solutions?

It doesn't ask for any kind of license during the install, first run, whether you need to be logged in to do it?

Can't see anything in the docs about it.

Thanks.

Steve

Steps to Reproduce:

Hi Steve,

That is really strange to see. Actually, last 2 emails from you have been just blank for me. Which email are you sending to? Please try sending me one to ephere (at) gmail.com , maybe we will have more luck there?

Just checked my outgoing mail and it seems like something is wrong with the encoding. It isn't spam but looks like the email is encoded in a way where characters are replaced with Chinese ones. Anyway, please try this link to fix your licensing problem: https://www.ephere.com/web/applications/ephere/docs/Installing_a_Floating_License_Server.html

Hi,

OK, thanks - will try when I get home.

Cheers
