Problem

Description:

hi Here you can see liquid ignores the  ball and just collides with the plane even though the ball was added to static

we sue 3ds max 2014

Do you know if this is something that worked before? Or this has always been a problem?

Hi Marsel I just uninstalled the latest build and installed 1.1.0.6947 and it works great. We use inches for our unit scale  maybe the new conversion of units system is doing something also we do not have the problem when hit record nothing happens and liquid mesh disappears. So it works great in the old build.

Just downloaded and opened the scene, simulated it, and all works well. See attached video.

Are you using the "Adopt scene units" option when opening it?

hi all my units are already set in inches so id id not get this message. really strange why it does not work for me

What happens if you temporarily change them to cm?

Was this issue resolved? And if so - how?  This is exactly the same issues I am encountering for the past few weeks.

I have downloaded the example scene here too and the particles pass through the sphere/collision objects and behave unpredictably on the collision plane.
