Problem

Description:

I have a simple scene with a box for the ground, a sphere on top of it which is static and three stacked planes above which are cloth objects. After modeling the scene I start assigning the modifiers starting from the ground, then the sphere and then the cloth objects. When I reach the second cloth object there is a crash and MAX exits.

I am running Windows 10 on a NVIDIA 880M Alienware 17 gaming laptop. All NVIDIA FleX demos run fine at high framerates.

I am using the trial version of the plugin. The aim is to see if I can use Lucid for multilayered cloth animation (say a top, jeans and a jacket ) . Please help.

Cheers

Sanjit

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Create objects.

2. Assign Lucid modifier, change to rubber and cloth.

3. crash on the second or third cloth object when I change the type to cloth/rubber.

Just tried to reproduce here without success, see attached video.

Thanks for the video. Looks like there was another problem with MAX and I did a repair. Seems to work now. Sorry for the false alarm.

I did notice in my tests and in your video that there is no cloth-cloth collision. I did play around with the particle settings but didnt help. Is this implemented? Also is there a way to set per cloth object parameters like one will be satin and the other more rubbery ?

Thx
