Problem

Description:

Hello,

we are currently testing the lucid plugin for max 2016 on Windows 10.

It's not able to find any cuda device that's strange we are using a Geforce GTX 980 TI with latest drivers, so cuda should be supported.

Attached you will find some screenshot the one with the messed up cuda device selection (called fehler.jpg) only appears at the first time you open the "lucid global settings" dialog.

The second time you open the "lucid global settings" the selections looks like (seleciton.jpg)

This is reproducable.

We have already tried another user profile (also admin account), reinstalling the plugin and the graphics drivers.

Installing the CUDA Toolkit 7.5.

But we are still facing the same issue.

Regards,

Philipp

Hello, this looks very strange. Your videocard should be supported so it mustbe some driver issue. Have you tried running the Flex demos from nvidia to see if it works? The link should be in the docs.

Thank you for the hint.

Cuda was not working at all that was related to the Motherboard (ASUS: z10pe-d8ws) it has some kind of onboard VGA Chip. You have to disable it by setting a Jumper.

Once we were setting the Jumper to disable it, it worked!

Philipp

Perfect, thank you for the update.
