| here is the scene. If I simulate liquid as mesh and then decide to enable show is particle nothing happens Attached Files:test.max

| Here is video Also after I stoped this simulation and changed gravity 3ds max crashed completely. I also had initial state done with resolution 70 and gravity -5. So later changing res or grav crashes max |
| I can change the global flex settings and re-record the scene here without problems. Will check the initial state. Marsel Khadiyev (Software Developer, EPHERE Inc.) |
| seems like most problems happen in 3ds max 2014. We started using 2015 and have less freezing etc. But we still have problems where if I simulate as particles and uncheck shows as particles mesh just disappears even though granularity is set to the lowest level. Earlier releases never had this problem. Not sure what causes mesh to disappear maybe ndvidia newsest drivers . We use windows 7 |
| I attached the scen called test. Can you try to set granularity to low level. make sure that show as particles is on. Do simulation and then uncheck show as particles and move time slider Our max freezes or mesh just disappears Thank you Could you Attached Files:test.max

| To follow up on the initial state part, I tried setting it to 30, and then simulating at 40 resolution and vice versa. Generally you must re-capture the initial state if you change any of the simulation parameters that affect particle count. In this case the behavior is correct, except for the assertion which should probably just be a warning message instead, Marsel Khadiyev (Software Developer, EPHERE Inc.) |
| In the scene you uploaded, if I simulate and check off the "Show as particles" I see the mesh correctly, see screenshot. I am on Max 2016 though. Attached Files:Marsel Khadiyev (Software Developer, EPHERE Inc.) |
