Problem

Description:

Hello,

I try different settings for a boat simulation.

i kept the same max file for different simulation.

I recorder thoses different simulation in different files v01.lrd, v02.lrd ...

But i can't find the way to load my simulation in my max files.

I can't imagine we can't reload physics simulation recorded in lrd files.

How do i need to proceed (this is hugely urgent ^^)

Thanks

Kwen

Steps to Reproduce:

Hi Kwen,

Did you try creating some object (a sphere), adding Lucid Modifier to it, and then loading the .lrd file into it?

Hello,

I can't find the way loading a lucid simulation.

There's only a browse button "for save to file".

When i used it trying to reload a simulation nothing happens.

I don't know how to proceed.

Thanks

Kwen

I use the last version of lucid.

I'm on win 7, 3dsmax 2016, bi xeon computer and gtx78i for lucid.

If anyone can help i really need my simulation to load (today, just right now in fact ^^)

Kwen

I tried to do as in your video (beta update 10) but nothing happens.

I'm working on a edit poly plane, using a cloth lucid simulation on it with boat as collider.

When i load my simulation by using save button nothing happens.

Hello again !

I run a very simple simulation on sphere, recorded as lrd file, i make a simple copy/paste of this sphere, the copy doesn't simulate ...

Kwen, is the simulated .lrd file for fluid simulation? Do you think you can send me the .lrd file to try?

Marsel Khadiyev (Software Developer, EPHERE Inc.)

I'm gonna simulate a small one because my .lrd file is 15Go.

My .lrd file is a cloth simulation.

I've been asked to stop with lucid for now, time is missing, i'll do my best to send you a file later or try to find wath i did wrong.

I see. If you're doing a cloth sim then the mesh needs to be the same mesh with same topology when you're loading back the .lrd file.

Ok, please let me know when you have some time.

I fixed the problem with loading lrd files into new objects, please check the upcoming nightly build (7694+)
