Description: | Hey All,
I tried to get the Plugin to work on my 3dsmax install (win7 64bit fully updated, 3dsmax 2011 64 bit, fully updated) Installation works fine. But when I followed the beginners tutorial videos, the plugin did not behave like it does in the video.
And some of the liquid wasn't stopped by the glass, but just went straight through it.
When I disabled the plugin and enabled it again, both the glass and the liquid would just fall down into infinity. So it completely ignored the type that I set it to beforehand. And it was impossible to make them work again. All I could do then, was to delete them, and create new objects.
The Flex demos that I downloaded from Nvidia worked fine. (re)Installing the cuda drivers didn't change anything. Switching from Titan X to GTX980 didn't change anything. Switching from Directx9 to directx10 didn't change anything (although it felt a bit faster)
I installed the newest demo of 3dsmax... and there the plugin worked just fine.
So in conclusion, is it still possible to get the plugin working in 3dsmax 2011? Maybe the 32 bit version works? What viewport driver do you recommend? It seemed that the directx drivers becomes REALLY slow... probably also causes problems for the simulation?
Thank you for your help. :)
