Problem

Description:

we use 3ds max 2015

adding pflow and adding  lucid and lucid display in  event gives us errors during simulations

seems like too many problems with pflow  it never works right

Steps to Reproduce:

Attached Files:

>test.max (2752512 bytes),

here is another error. We are trying to have fluid come out from the plane and not pflow icon. We choose speed by surface  <  out of surface and max crashes

Thank you, we are investigating this. It'd also be useful to have the scene for the second case, before you get a crash.

i think i overwritten that file  but here is another error working with pflow  and also I used Position object as emmiter and particles just stick around it and not flying away

here is pflow crash wheni hit simulation it crashes max 2015

The scene seems to have trouble auto-specifying the particle radius so it takes a while to start going if I just open it. If I delete all objects but the pflow emitter then I don't get a crash and I see the PFlow particles simulated. Also, if I set the particle radius manually to 1cm then everything works fine. Are you using the latest build of Lucid?

If I set the mesh type to collision then particles also don't pass through it. You really only need to use SDF on deforming meshes and if you want to use it, it is a good idea to increase SDF resolution for some objects.
