Problem

Description:

As soon as you change Max Particles value in the Lucid Flex Settings to anything but default 1300000 (doesn't matter), simulation becomes incredibly slow while liquids explode. Can only be resolved by restarting Max and recreating the simulation.

Steps to Reproduce:
  1. Restart Max. This is important.
  2. Create classic plane as a collision and a sphere as "water"
  3. Simulate - works fine.
  4. Change Max Particles value.
  5. Simulate. BOOOM!

Why? Happens with the latest 1.3.5, Max 2016

Seems like there is a problem in Flex internally when changing the max particle count. We might have to limit this value or remove it altogether.

You mean 1.3 mil is the total allowed max limit? No way around it?
