Problem

Description:

1. Particle view works fine, but if deactivte it, the mesh should be shown instead, right? That is not working here. Even if the mesh is high poly

 

2. On some ojects adding a preset (mud) via the toolbar is not working, only via menu or stack.

Create a plane as collision or any complex item as a container (SDF) Run the sim.

3. Particles are shown as expected, but deactivate "show as particles" only shows original shape of the pyramide object.

4. Mesh options are not working

Steps to Reproduce:

to 1. create a PYramide and change the segments to a high amount e.g. 20 each. 

to 2. create a pyramide as descripted above, try now to add a preset (mud) via toolbar.

to 3. deactivted "show as particle" on pyramide.

to 4. non of any mesh options are working  for the pyramide.

I cannot reproduce #1, which preset do you add so that the pyramid mesh cannot be shown?

#2: When you select mud preset nothing happens? It seems to add the preset fine here. In your scene, btw, I only see one object: the jug.

#3: Is this the same as #1? If so I still cannot reproduce

In your scene, if I uncheck "Show as particles" I can see the properly meshed result. Is this not the case for you? You do need to reduce the mesh granularity a bit though.
