Anything we can reproduce? Marsel Khadiyev (Software Developer, EPHERE Inc.)
Hi Marsel I attached the scene where sphere rolls through snow. If you just hit Record button stop then adjsut sub step, hit record then iterations, record then mess with adhesion amd cohesion and back and forth we get random crashes also display particles/mesh on off We use max 2018 Thank you
I've been going through the steps you provided trying to reproduce a crash but so far no luck. I tried changing sub-step, iterations, adhesion, and cohesion in between toggling recording on and off but it seems to work well here. Marsel Khadiyev (Software Developer, EPHERE Inc.)
I can confirm that I also get a lot of those and they can be difficult to reproduce. It needs a beta tester full time for a while trying to use ephere in a situation the most closest to a real production to cure those asserts.
Hi Marsel this is just an example scene of problems if you click record sphere will disappear and particles appear somewhere else. It is these kind of little problems but i think they are related to nvidia flex bugs in the engine also if you open new max and xref these objects max crashes
i think explosion due to sandbox box but it crashes max with xref
Hi, I tried to open the scene but I get a message with a lot of missing Octane dlls and then a crash. You can clean the scene and reupload it? Jeordanis Figuereo (Product Designer. EPHERE Inc.)
we are trying to do a simple scene with water and fruits fall into it. max crashed like 5 times, clearing recorded animation max crashes, going down the modifier to box and then clicking R t osimulate crash. maybe you should make a simple scene and jsut push buttons to catch all these annoying bugs.
Hello, I've been trying to reproduce this again but unfortunatelly I can't. I still think could be a big help if you can provide a simplified version of your scene for testing. We will keep it internal if that's your concern. Jeordanis Figuereo (Product Designer. EPHERE Inc.)
ok i will try. this is just one of the bugs. After simulation was done a couple of times trying to save 3ds max this error pops up then max crashes Attached Files:
We will take a look into this error, thanks. By the way, you can send me the scene to Jeordanis.f@ephere.com. Jeordanis Figuereo (Product Designer. EPHERE Inc.)
Which version of Lucid are you using? Jeordanis Figuereo (Product Designer. EPHERE Inc.)
Hi we are using 2018.4 max and 1.4.2.12733 lucid, if i get more bugs I will try to reproduce them and report to you, Thanks
Hi, "After simulation was done a couple of times trying to save 3ds max this error pops up then max crashes" Did you send me a test scene for this bug? I can't recal receiving it. Jeordanis Figuereo (Product Designer. EPHERE Inc.)
Hey, Are you still having the Assert failed: sceneNode !=nullptr error? We would like to address this but we need the problematic scene for testing. Jeordanis Figuereo (Product Designer. EPHERE Inc.)
