I was interested in hearing about the recording workflow with Lucid.
This something that has happened to me a lot recently.
- Set up a Lucid simulation with Fluids and other dynamics
- Record the simulation from Frame 1000-1500
- Later on, when working with the scene, I hit the record button at an earlier frame (frame 0). User Error? It records for around 200 frames.
Result:
All frames later in the timeline are lost, even if they haven't been 'written' yet.
With RealFlow. If a user was to do this, frames that are later in the timeline are never lost unless that frame is overwritten. All the simulation data later in the timeline will still be there.
Is this avoidable with Lucid, or the way the workflow is setup?
