Hi We ar planning to create paintball animation for testing.

is there anyway to creat animation of flying paint or paintball that splashes against the wall

or continous water flow like a firetruck water hose

Sorry for getting back to this so late. Have you figured this out yet? This should be doable relatively easily with Lucid PF geometry operator by using a sphere for paintballs and a fluid preset.

thank you Marsel

We have not tried it yet. This is going to be for our upcoming animation.

So I shoot out paintballs using geometry operator and once they hit the wall they need to explode with the paint.  Problem is how do they turn to liquid paint when they hit the wall.  Do we add spawn operator ?

I can either have geometry flying out of PF or liquid pouring out  but I am not sure how to turn geometry operator to fluid during wall impact.

Thank you

I was thinking just shooting out fluid spheres with sufficient cohesion so they don't fall apart right away. But you can certainly try using PF spheres at first and, once they hit the wall, have an event that spawns the Lucid fluid spheres (maybe a few frames before impact). In the upcoming build I added support for velocities with PF geometry operator so they should be inheriting the velocity from the spheres hopefully.
