Hello there,

 

I guess Lucid can do that, but i'd rather ask (the beta never worked on my system, dunno why)...

 

I will soon have to animate a truck crossing a large water puddle, so the wheels are making the water to move as fluids, with some few projections...

 

Is there a simple way to achieve that effect ? (with RealFlow i would use ocean object i guess)...

this incoming project could be a good reason to buy Lucid ;-)

Looks very doable with Lucid if you set the tire as a convex mesh and the puddle as a liquid (or you can do sand without fluid constraints if needed). The concern will be the particle limit. Not sure how many particles are in this simulation but we currently have a limit of 1.3M on most video cards.
