Hi, I have this cloth on an object and i wanna pull the cloth. How do i achieve that? I tried linking it to another object and it seems to stretch it or idk something weird. Im not sure about my cloth settings if are correct, i need work on this a bit more, but i want just a hint on how to do this. thanks |

Thanks i saw most of the cloth tutorials. So whats the best solution for pulling a cloth? link it to another object? Can i link the vertices instead of the world position to another object somehow? thanks
Yes, have a look at Linked Xform modifier. Marsel Khadiyev (Software Developer, EPHERE Inc.)
Idk what im doing wrong the vertices seem to not respond to my animated object but for many frames later. Maybe i should upload scene for u to take a look? thanks
Or actually what is a good range of sub steps or particle resolution for an accurate cloth simulation? I noticed btw that with the record button works much much more accurate. Is that normal? thanks
Generally the more substeps the better, some people do as many as 50. Not sure what could be wrong otherwise, perhaps have a look at the cloth sample scene and compare it to yours? Marsel Khadiyev (Software Developer, EPHERE Inc.)
Where can i get the sample scenes? thanks BTw it could be useful if u add some cloth presets so we dont have to dig up the friction and stuff. thanks
