Problem with concave mesh & Fluid Body Type

I'm having trouble turning concave shapes into fluid objects. E.g. an extruded 'C' - I'd like this to be made of water so I drop and splash it. I've attached a screen grab.

Looks like the fact that the top/bottom of the mesh are one long polygon is throwing the voxelization algorithm off. To fix this add a Tesselate modifier on top of your mesh.
