Hello,

 

I'm using "tears" in massfx cloth to simulate breakable object.

That would be cool to have this type of features (for example make a voronoi fracture with lucid or rip clothing)

Thank you for the request. Could you please elaborate on how you would like tearing to be specified? Is it best to do it with a texture map, or intersection geometry?

Hello

With mass fx i can select sub object vertices and make them as "tears": the cloth will ripped were i make tears if efficient force/collision is encounter.

For breaking object i use the fracture voronoi script (from scripspot) and freeze/sleep dynamics properties until first physical contact.

The possibility to make that with an image would be huge !

 

Just having a "tears" system would be cool !
