Hi

can we get a feature where particles are coming out of the surface (or selected subsurfaces) and lucid just has a simple speed control and life span. (like in realflow) I know you can use Pflow  but it is so time consuming.  Would be nice to have two options turn any object into liquid or make particles come out of the surface and particles get controlled by simple lucid speed or forces.

This will make life a lot easier, For example need a water faucet just stick a round disk inside the faucet and you are done.

Thanks

You are referring to a new particle system object which would emit Lucid particles, right?

now i see. I guess you do have to have particle system in place to emit particles. Thank you

Not necessarily. We can have a "particle object" which would be the same as you get now with Lucid modifier instead of max native particles. The only issue could be that people might want actual particles to be output.

Thank you Marsel

I am not really sure what this means "The only issue could be that people might want actual particles to be output."

But if one day your company  can make simple lucid particle system that emmits from object faces and is only influenced by forces and lucid speed  it would be great!

like phoenix fd  you can use any objects as source emmiter with different speeds bypassing   pflow   https://youtu.be/96uuOHHYbgs

By actual particles I meant Max's native particles, so they can be used with other parts of Max. Not our proprietary particle object.
