at the moment (as far as I know) the particles created by fluids etc are either the same basic shape, or as a mesh for fluids.
Would it be possible to have custom objects as particles, so you could have fragments of rock (for example) that's attached to an underlying fluid sim?
I thought Frost might be able to pick the Lucid object, or V-Ray instancer which would have been a workaround, but unfortunately not.
