* Other than the crash I have a quick workflow question: In my file I have Hair outputting from a mesh surface, after I add "Mesh from strands" and then convert it back to guides, it asks me to "ground strands" onto a mesh surface. I am forced to copy the object remove all the hair modifiers and provide it with the same base mesh to apply the grounding on. Is there a better way in the future to simply tell Ornatrix to Ground the strands on the same mesh it is being outputted from? Instead of creating another base mesh?. Thank you, (sorry if there is a double post, I wasn't sure if the message was posted with the upload). |
Steps to Reproduce: | To reproducce the crash" Simply try to ground the strands after mesh strands modifier, either by "ground strands" or by the default grounding option within the "guides from guide mesh". Both options are crashing Max in this setup. Max 2020 File provided below. |
