Hi,


We're having difficulty with Ox Strands from Shape and Ox Ground Strands with a skinned mesh.  It seems that we can skin wrap the ground mesh to another object and it will work fine, with the hair moving around as the mesh warps.  However as soon as we convert it to a skin this stops working? 

Is there a specific setup we need to use to make this work with a skinned mesh?

Steps to Reproduce:

 

Add skin to ground object and animate.  The guides won't follow the mesh

It appears that this only works if the ground object is an edit mesh at it's base (doesn't work with 'turn to mesh' or 'edit_mesh' modifier in the stack).  As soon as the mesh is changed it seems to be working fine...

Hi Michael,

 

I'll see if I can make one today.  We've also discovered that if the ground object is hidden the hair doesn't follow it's motion either...
