| Everything is working as designed on my computer. "Unhide all" becomes enabled if you have some hairs hidden. Same with "Unfreeze All" and frozen strands. You can use "Select Invert" and "Select None" from 3dsmax main Edit menu. Marsel Khadiyev (Software Developer, EPHERE Inc.) |
| Unfortunately in my case (3d Max 2014) it doesn't work, and in Edit menu too. As well as 3D Max 2012 has the same problems. What have I do? |
| Some addings...
I tested all updates one by one, and now have some results:
starting from bild 3.1.0.9 appeared a problem - the guides doesn't edit smoothly no longer. And since this version the buttons (Unhide, Unfreeze) isn't work well.
Given these I was rollbacking 3.1.0.8 and now all goes fine. |

| It seems like the brush is much more sensitive than usual, and when I try to fine-tune guides, the accuracy suffers. In bild 3.1.0.8 it much more smoothly in editing. I don't know how to explain it better, needs to compare how it's works in 3.1.0.8 and 3.1.1.1 for example.
And one more remark, in bild 3.1.0.9 and later, we have an annoying flickering of guides in the editing process. In guide brushing mode, all of guides have blue color, and red - when selected. But when I start to edit, they are turned to white and I don't understand where are the selected area or not. It's very uncomfortably.

| I cannot reproduce the white hair/flickering here in 3.1.1.1 and 3dsmax 2015 x64. Which version of Max are you using, and which display driver? Can you post a capture of the issue? I have also not experienced any problems with brushing though I yet have to properly compare it to 3.1.0.8. It seems fine in 3.1.1.1 though. Marsel Khadiyev (Software Developer, EPHERE Inc.) |
