Problem

Description:

hello, i was making some hair from mesh strips and found 2 possible problems:

the Ox Mesh from strands modifier produces unuseful UV coordinates. The V values are correct or like expected (0-1). But the U values are huge (mostly several hundred units like 0-900). One can rectify with UV unwrap, but redoing this for every change of the underlying hairstyle is pretty tedious in the end.

Second Problem when i click export guide mesh data in the mesh hair modifier. all UV coordinates seems to get lost or become highly unusable (all vertices in 2 places like for instance 0,0 and 800,-1)

if i was missing something obvious please let me know Smile

Steps to Reproduce:

make poly strip, create ox hair from mesh strips, add poly to strips list, add ox render detail, ox render settings add ox mesh from strands, check resulting UVs with UV unwrap modifier.

i forgot, set hair uv coordinates to 'per strand' and i was chosing billboard hair as result. I wasnt testing it for cylindrical hair settings

Thanks for the report. Could you upload a simple scene that shows the issue your having?

Thanks again

Michael
