Problem

Description:

before the conform and the reloadafter the conform and reloadhi we actually ancounter a probleme when we using the conform paint tool in 3dsmax 2014 after having creating hair on a older version of the mesh, all looks fine in the viewport but when we reload the scene, we have a strange behavior and the hair are deffinitely different, do you have any idea of information regarding this problems ?

Steps to Reproduce:

conform a mesh with hair into another one by the paint toolset of max and see the behavior it's giving you when you reload the scene.

It looks like the topology of the mesh or guides before Ox Edit Guides modifier is changing in the scene. Please make sure:

  1. You are not using distribution map for the guides from surface modifier
  2. Your mesh doesn't have mesh smooth or anything else which could change toplogy
  3. Try using the "Remember" button in Ox Edit Guides

If you show me your modifier stack I could probably give more info
