Description: | This happens with animated characters. We used a point cached copy of the animated mesh to generate the fur. When the animators have scaled the character down to a small size (let's say to a 10% of its original size), and logically the point cached copy of it also scales down, the render simply crashes after taking the whole RAM of the system. The render with a normal scale takes usually 8-9 GB, when the character is scaled down, it uses 32GB. |
Steps to Reproduce: | - have an animated character that is scaled down to 5-10% of its size |
