We have some real trouble that we can't fixe with hair clustering. It looks like the clusters are re-evaluate for each frame on an animated mesh. Here's a folder with simple scene : http://pingus.tatprod.com/BUG/Ornatrix/Ox_Cluster/ sphere.max is a simple animated sphere with basic hair + clusters. (max 2016, vray 3.3.04, Ox 4.2.1.6873 ) Ox_sphere.avi is the result render over renderfarm. and Ox_cluster_bug video are some preview of our character.
Is the flow correct or we missunderstand something ?
