Hair rotation has a bug. Can't explain, see mp4

Steps to Reproduce:

create hairfromstrips_object, add mesh, rotate.

It doesn't look like you're using a polygon strip. What result are you trying to achieve?

Hi,

that was a plane in a U shape made  with a bend modifier , extended the edges. The gap between the extended edges i use as a part in the hair. I used cloth modifier to form it to the head and shoulders and then add the hair strips. Used to wotk great.The hair aligns correctly when the roots are rotated to the bottom of the hair , but get messed up when rotated to the top of the hair where they re supposed to be. How does ornatrix determine where to put the roots of the hair when you assign it to a plane? Maybe I bent it the wrong way,
