OX Change Width

Steps to Reproduce:

Version 6.0.10.15994

3ds max 2019

Same with 3ds Max 2018

Works fine here. I will double check with the exact build soon.

Sorry, I am on 6.0.9.15782.

Please try 6.0.10

It works fine using 10 on a new scene but when I try to open a scene that I used 9 I get "Error Loading ParamBlock2" then "Invalid File - only partially loaded"

It is late here so I will do additional tests in the morning.

Using 3ds max 2019, and 6.0.10 I could not open my work file which used 6.0.9 but was able to merge the Hair Cap and FurBall into a separate temp file even though I got the above error messages. So I reverted back to 6.0.9 and was able to load my work file then deleted the Hair Cap and FurBall. I also created some simple test files using 6.0.9. I reinstalled 6.0.10 opened my work file and merged in the Hair Cap and FurBall from my separate temp file  - all seems to work fine now. I was also able to load the simple test files without getting the error messages.

Were you using the Clump modifier in any of these files? To my knowledge this is the only modifier which could've caused this problem between 6.0.9 and 6.0.10

Marsel Khadiyev (Software Developer, EPHERE Inc.)

Yes, my work file used Clumping. The test files today did not. However, I did have problems with a test file yesterday and I think it did have a Clumping Modifier.

Ok. Yes, 6.0.9 was a "bad" build which shouldn't have been used for anything related to production. Clumping is the culprit. These issues have been addressed in 6.0.10

Now when I try to load the work file I can not get in - it just sits and does nothing and eventually it says (Not Responding).
