So I keep running into an issue in which some hairs are unaffected by operators. Tweaking setting bellow the operators sometimes help, but I am failing to understand the principles here. I am avoiding groups and strand/guide sub selections unitl I understand the plugin better. My assumption is that operators should effect all stack items upstream unless I ad chaos, maps, etc. Here is an example, clumping twists affect some hair and not others with no sub-selections active. This keeps happening on curls and frizz as well. Scale and Width never have this issues. I am sure it becuase I don't 100% understand everything going on yet.
