Dear Ornatrix,

You know, it is possible to create 'Hair and Fur' between two spline without any scalp object in 3ds Max.

Is there anyway to create Ornatrix between 2 spline without any scalp object ?

If I'm missing something, please let me know.

Thank you.

I think the 'Ox Hair from Mesh Strips' might be the answer what I was looking for. However, I wanted to use 'Custom user Proxy-Mesh' on this function.

I noticed if I use 'Cusome user Proxy-Mesh' on the Mesh Strips, and bend the strip, the Custom user Proxy-Mesh is going to be thinner or flipped  on certain angle.

Is there anyway to use 'Custom user Proxy-Mesh' follwing the normal direction of a face or direction of spine?

By create hair between two splines do you mean hair interpolation? If so, that's not possible. The interpolation algorithms need a distribution mesh to work.

About your problem with proxy meshes, try rotating the proxy mesh in object space on a single axis at a time until you find the correct orientation.
