Hair Getting Messed Up After Opening File

This is driving me crazy. Every time I groom the hair, save the file, and re-open the file later, the hair gets messed up again.
I checked the "Topology-Based" option in the Root Orientation. I've attached a screenshot of my modifier stack in 3ds Max. Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong here? Or what I failed to do?

We are looking into this issue as reported by another user. Both have the Skin Wrap modifier in common. Please send us a stripped down version of the scene to jeordanis .f (at) ephere.com.

Meanwhile, please try using Edit Mesh modifier instead of Editable Poly below the skin modifier.

I think I figured it out. It was the Skin Wrap that was causing the problem. After turning off all the Ornatrix modifiers I could see that the Skin Wrap got messed up. After resetting the Skin Wrap, the groom went back to how it originally was. So this was actually a 3ds Max issue, not an Ornatrix issue.
