Ornatrix for max groom presets broken

Hi,

I'm trying to create a fur coat on a model that is created in Clo3d (same as Marvelous Designer). The output from Clo is a dense high poly detailed coat.

I created a groom on a simple piece of cloth to represent a thick fur. On that simple sphere or plane it looks good. 

When I add this groom to my imported coat my whole groom goes bad. The length is off, the thickness is weird and even the distribution of the hairs are wrong. 

What am I missing here? Is there a polygon limit to which I can add hairs?

Hi Wilbert,

There is a posibility that there is something wrong with the imported mesh, like not having UVs or broken UVs, maybe broken topology, is hard to know without looking into it. First check those and give it another try.
