Problems with hair on deforming mesh

I have created some hair for a bee, that also is skinned to a rigg.
When I now move the different body parts, especially the legs, the hair is not keeping it's original shape. The roots stay in place, put the strands flop around randomly it seems.
I'm pretty new to Ornatrix and wondering if I'm missing a step. Should I somehow bake down all the modifiers, like clump, frizz, edit guides etc? Or are you supposed to animate with all of these still active in the stack?
So far the hair has no dynamics added to it.

Can you send us a video or the scene in question? We need to take a look to into it to figure out if is s bug or user error.

For the record. The problem was that Surface Comb was not baked or collapsed, which needs to be to avoid problems like these.
