I want to export the hair for sale in the 3D market, what is the best format and setting to export the hair that can be used in Blender and other software that does not have this plugin?
You can export the groom as Ornatrix Alembic and be able to load it anywhere where Alembic is supported. However, some special data like strand channels or strand groupd may not be supported by hosts like Blender. Though maybe you don't need those.
Thanks for the help, when I get the Alembic Export, it takes a few seconds and when I import it in another version of 3dsmax that doesn't have the Ornatrix plugin, it takes 5 minutes. Is this time for importing normal? And the scene slows down
Maybe if the groom is very dense with a lot of details and with animation. I'm not sure about Blender though, I have never used it. How large is the resulting file size?
