It looks like the scene you're trying to load was created in a much older version of Ornatrix.
While we try to support loading scenes saved with older versions of the plugin, we do not test too old ones, like 3 major versions back.
That is, we can't guarantee that a scene saved with V5 or older would load properly in V8.
If you'd like me to investigate your scene you'll have to send it to me. Another option is to try to load it in V7 and re-save it there if it doesn't crash.
