Hi! I am doing some animals covered with fur that are being animated, I have created the fur with a lot of Ox modifiers on top of Hair from guides but I get some flickering when I render an animated sequence, so I have duplicated the fur to preserve the original one with all the setup and on the second one before collapsing I had to set view percent to 100 on the Ox Strand multiplier to get it right, otherwise it doesnt render correctly after collapsing, the I collapse evertyhing under Ox Change width, then I reassign the distribution mesh on the OX baked hair, then I uncheck roots detached and that works!.
But I guess there should be a better worflow where I could just use the fur without having to duplicate and collapse everything cause the file size gets crazy higher and I have to hide the fur until render time cause it is very heavy on viewport, also if I set the viewport % to 1 on Ox Baked hair then the hair doesnt look attached to the mesh anymore and I get like an exploded fur when I reopen the file.
Is there just a better, more straight forward way to do this process?
Thanks in advance!
