Hi guys, Having an issue again in 3ds MAX, this time with the guides. We're basically animating a character leaning over a table. We have a seperate mesh for the scalp area with all the Ox modifiers assigned to it (including maps for distribution, density and length) which is then skin wrapped to the main character mesh. When the character animation kicks in however and the player leans over the table, all the guides to rotate in different directions. We have tried baking the guides but when we do this the denisty and length maps stop working and a small number of the guides straighten out. Can you help? Cheers

Hello, Sounds like a grounding issue of some sort. If you could post the scene I will be happy to take a look. If you do bake the guides make sure the check Topology. Thanks Michael

Hi Michael,
We have fixed the problem, we had a distribution map in the 'Ox guides from surface' mod (guide generation>sparse distribution settings>distribution map), once this was removed the guides behaved normally. Is there any reason you know of why this would work in his manner?
Thanks for your help
