Hello All,
I am experiencing an issue when trying to simulate fur on a bear mesh I have created. The model was made in 3ds max and sculpted on in zbush. It wen back and forth between zbrush and max a few times before the model was done. I did a full gromm on the bear and got things looking good, then I started experiencing issues when trying to add dynamics.
I have attached a image of a simple dynamics test. First I cloned the mesh as a reference and then added ox modifiers in the following order. ox guides from surface, ox edit guides, ox dynamics. In the ox dynamics modifier I changed the wisp global readius to 0.5 to avoid the, being to large. Now here is the fun part when I hit the simulate buttom with the visulizer on a huge bone appears at the origin and 5-6 bone fall out of his chest. Weird.... I have succesfully done dynamic simulation with simple sphere made in max no problem. I think it has to do with my mesh. I have tried to reset the xform, converted it from edit poly to edit mesh and vise versa. I have tried everything I can think of the fix/clean the mesh. If you have experienced this before or know what the problem might be I would love to hear about it. Link to image http://imgur.com/jtyEZx8

Looks like there might be a scale issue here. I will have a look at the OBJ you sent me.
Thanks Michael |
