Avoiding penetration with ears geometry

Hi, pretty much all my characters have the same problem, when I comb the guides I'm careful to do it in a way that the hair never penetrate the geometry in areas like the ears. But when I generate the actual hair, a lot of them end up inside the lobes of the ears. I tried all the possible interpolation combinations, and parting, but nothing seems to help.

Any suggestion?

To brush her hair behind her ear with edit guides?

Foxcat had a good suggestion. You could also go in and grab the tips of the guides to move them around the ear.

I think you would have to do a simulation on the hair so that it pushes it away, otherwise you would need to do testing with the guides until the generated hair doesn't collide.

I haven't gotten into simulation though so that might not work.
