Hi all, maybe you have already noticed and fixed, but in case you didn't I'd like to bring your attention to something that looks like a bug. Everytime I open a model that has Ox Strand Gravity modifier, the Strand Deformation curve appears on its default state. So I change the curve (in my case, by deleting the cerntral red dot of the curve), save the model, reboot 3ds max and the Strand Deformation curve is again in its default state. Not a big dea but I thought it was good to let you know :) Marco |
| Hello, Is it possible that you are using Demonstration version of Ornatrix? It disables saving so that would explain why the diagram would not be saved. I just tried this in a full version (V4) and could not reproduce the problem. Marsel Khadiyev (Software Developer, EPHERE Inc.) |
| Hello, no, no, I am using the paid v4 version. I open the model, right click on the central red dot of the gravity curve, save, close 3dsmax, re-start the program and load the model... gravity curve has the central red dot again. If this helps, I am using 3dsMax Design 2013 + 4.0.3.4140 Marco |
| Ok, here is what I try: - Create a sphere
- Press "Quick Hair" button to add hair to it
- Add "Strand Gravity" modifier on top
- Right click on the middle red point in the diagram to remove it
- Save scene, reload it
- Strand gravity and diagram have the removed dot saved OK
Am I missing something? Marsel Khadiyev (Software Developer, EPHERE Inc.) |
| I have made a short video so you can quickly see what I mean. Here's the Link --> https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BwEQD4zlaRORT216OHJqSlZFc3c/view?usp=sharing Let me know if you can see the video or if it helped somehow.. Thanks Marco |
| Thank you for the video, yes I can see it. Strange, this is different from what i get on my computer. I will test it some more. Marsel Khadiyev (Software Developer, EPHERE Inc.) |
