Ornatrix 3dsmax: Plant roots at specific length?

Hi I have another question; It seems that the root is always looking at the nearest guide to set it's length. But is it possible to plant roots at a specific length? This way it is would be easier to create a hard transition between various lengths Menno

Menn007	Yes, If for example you have a piece of fur and want to have some parts longer, one way is to add some detail by placing roots between the short and the longer parts. This would make the transition harder.
