Hi there, I've run into a bug with frizz in the latest version of Ornatrix (4.1.5) that I can't seem to find a workaround for. Increasing the amount of haircount causes the frizz modifier to only frizz chunks of hair and flatten the rest. I've attached an image illustrating the probelm. Any help would be appreciated. | Howdy, Could you shoot us a simple file (basic sphere) and steps to reproduce this issue? We will get it sorted strait away! Thanks Michael |
| Hi Michael, Thank you for getting back to me. I'm not doing anything crazy. Just dropping a standard quickhair on an object, then I surface comb and increase the density of the rendered hair. I then add a frizz and voila, the problem is there. Here's a max file with 3 spheres with different haircounts. I'm attaching a render showing the probelm i'm having. First is a million hairs, second is 250k and last is 100k. The lower the haircount, the less the problem is visible. Red |
