Ornatrix 3dsmax: Demo

Hi, we'd like to evaluate ornatrix for maya but can't make it work. I've downloaded and installed ornatrix-1.0.1.8157 for linux and it loads in maya 2016-ext1-sp3 and maya-2016-ext2, but has some issues. the first button in the shelf that's supposed to create hair brings up a dialog for groom creation, but browsing to a folder and clicking create does nothing. The second shelf button brings up the dialog about not being able to save, and when closing that window maya crashes. Is there something else I need to do to get any demo functionality? This is on centos 6.5 I think. thanks Dan

dan_at_tip	Yes, but maybe it's user error regarding the installation. I've copied the grooms from the default folder to the custom one and now they appear and I can generate some hair. Is that all that's necessary? thanks Dan

EPHERE	The grooms should've been visible from the directory in which they were installed (https://www.ephere.com/plugins/autodesk/maya/ornatrix/docs/1/Grooms.html#Changing-default-grooms-directory) However, if it works for you after copying then I suppose problem is resolved.
