What would be the best way to approach stylized hair? Like in the Incredibles or Inside out. |
Hi Appo, I can recommend to you our youtube channel, we have a LOT of tutorials there that can help you to get started. But if you have a more specific question let me know. :) Best Regards, Jeordanis F. Jeordanis Figuereo (Product Designer. EPHERE Inc.)
Also, we are producing a new series of tutorials where we make different hairstyles. I will make sure to make a tutorial about stylized hair. Jeordanis Figuereo (Product Designer. EPHERE Inc.)
Thanks for the reply, sounds promising :) do you have a link to your channel?
Yes! This is the Ephere channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/EphereInc/videos And this is my personal channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCBTm7gmUim9-YHbLoKcZ2nw Jeordanis Figuereo (Product Designer. EPHERE Inc.)
Thanks, however I only understand English so I was a bit lost on your 'Intro to Ornatrix'.
Howdy, I would suggest that using Hair Strips might be a good way to get started. You can model your strips in a very stylized way and then generate hair for them. Thanks Michael
Yeah that has been the best result so far. Is there a way to help the hair 'blend' for when strips interpenetrate one another? Attached Files:
Ah just ignore my previous post, I found that not making it stick out at such a harsh angle helped Attached Files:
