Ornatrix 3dsmax: Clustering affection only certain grou of hair

Hello, I'm creating feather via Propagation modifier and i want to add some clustering to propagated hairs but the Clustering modifier has no option to work only on certain hair group, so it affect the main feather "stem" too. Is there any solution? Thanks

frodo	Thanks, Strand clustering dont work on propagated hairs so it will be good to add this feature to Hair clustering. Another minor thing pleeeeeeese replace Strand propagation Lenght control curve wit new qt curve, this old one is realy buggy. Thanks a lot. p.s. sorry for the mistakes in the thread tittle, i notice that right now :(
