Hi all, Sorry if I am asking some silly questions, but is there a way to 'refresh' the Ox Strand Gravity. Say I have a character and I have a few poses for still shots, is there a way to 'Refresh' the modifier so it works in the new pose without reapplying it? Or maybe I am doing it all wrong? Thanks! |
| Hi Shan, No problem, we are happy to help. However, I'm not sure if I understand what you want to do... | Thank you very much, So say in the example, I have a character, that I need to pose in a few stills. Because it is not for animation I don't really need a dynamics setup, I just need to take renders in a few different posers. A quick way is to use the Gravity modifier to easily get my still shots. But everytime I change the pose, I have to delete the gravity modifier and put it back on to get the updated pose. If there was a refresh button or something it would be good so I don't have to re-apply the modifier everytime. Even if this could be triggered by maxscript it would be great Attached Files:1.PNG

| Ox don't have this function right now, but you can change the gravity direction by selecting the Gravity subobject and rotating the gravity plane. What you suggest is a good idea, we will look into it, thanks! Jeordanis Figuereo (Product Designer. EPHERE Inc.) |
