hello,

i'm trying to use Ornatrix in small projetc to test.

i'm use : Ox Guides from surface ,Ox Hair from guides , Ox Render setting

after animate base mesh, such as movement and rote in 50 frame,

hairs moved!!!! similar Dynamic hair!!

i'm  checked Remember Root Position ,but not correctly.

thanks.

Hello,

I don't understand what the problem is. You said the hair moves when you animate the base mesh, that is suppose to happen. Can you be more specific? Maybe some images or a video would help.

In the video above you can see the problem
I do not want the hair to move dynamically

Hi,

Are you using a Hair Cluster modifier? If so, use Remember Cluster in the Hair Cluster and Remember Root Position in both: HairFromGuides and GuidesFromSurface.

i use Remember Cluster in the Hair Cluster and Remember Root Position in both: HairFromGuides and GuidesFromSurface

but not solved!!!

i think problem in  Ox Edit Guides

That's strange. Could be helpful to have your scene to study this issue. If possible, please send the scene to: jeordanis.f@ephere.com.

thank you so much. i send a test scene for you.

Nobody knows?

I cannot reproduce this in Ornatrix 5, it seems to be working perfectly fine here. I see you are using Ornatrix 4, which is not in development anymore since Ox 5 came out. Try baking all the modifiers under OxHairFromGuides and turn ON Remember Clusters in OxHairClustering. Let me know if this helps.

thank you so much.

i can not solve my problem.

maby convert all subject to Maya and using

XGen Interactive Grooming

Hi,

Have you tried my suggestion? Also make sure the topology of the distribution mesh is not changing during the animation, this may cause problems.

Taking a deeper look into your scene, I noticed that the Skin Wrap modifier is changing the geometry of the distribution mesh, I think this is the cause of the problem. Try baking the guides (This will get rid of the Skin Wrap modifier), use Remember Roots in OxHairFromGuides and Remember Clusters in OxHairClustering and then add the Skin Wrap modifier again.
